Help Us Donate to Those with Housing Needs During Our
To help combat Atlanta’s skyrocketing rental prices, we’ve created our own rental assistance fund for members of our community in need. Full info here.
From October 1st until the end of the year, we will donate $250 for each home we close and $10 for each email sign up to the #rootsinatl social club.
Here’s where you come in: Please Refer Us!
The more homes we help people buy/sell, and the more people join our #rootsinatl social club, the more money we can donate. Each referral has the potential to help more people stay in their homes.

Food Truck Park Proposed Just South of the Village
One mile south of East Atlanta Village lies the Bouldercrest Triangle, which sits at the intersection of Bouldercrest Drive and Flat Shoals Road. In recent years, this area has seen a trend of development, and more is on the way. Local developers, Pellerin Real Estate, have their eye on a vacant lot of about 0.3 acres with hopes to develop it into the East Atlanta Food Park. This lot has sat vacant for more than a decade.
This development would consist of 10 stalls for food trucks and a big shaded structure with seating underneath. The developers envision a space providing a casual and fun atmosphere with hopes of connecting the community to a variety of cultures and cuisines safely and affordably for both the Chefs and food truck visitors.
At this time, Pellerin has requested a Special Use Permit and there are no plans for additional customer parking or any additional structures. Neighbors in a recent East Atlanta Community Association [EACA] meeting showed mixed emotions towards the development plans. While the outdoor attraction was welcomed by many, it was also met with concerns on parking, public sanitation, and crosswalks for pedestrian safety. EACA agreed to defer any agreement for 60 days to allow time for more deliberation with other local organizations to ensure the space is used responsibly and all voices are heard. Hop in the next EACA meeting to stay in the loop on the latest development!
Until next month, thanks for reading!
